We are looking for an experienced Revit Designer – Electrical, to join our team in New York City.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Revit Autodesk to prepare difficult and complex Electrical layout and design drawings utilizing theoretical and practical design knowledge. Interpret and ensure conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures. Understand and utilize more advanced software to complete assignments. Meets layout requirements and develops alternate design layouts of systems as required. Ensures compliance with required design safety factors, tolerances, and specifications. Review supplier data and supplier/manufacturer drawings, as required. Checks orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) drawings prepared by others. Performs checking procedures as appropriate to the discipline and assigned by the immediate supervisor. Assists in training lower-level Designers in various procedures. Perform Clash Detection analysis and resolutions.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of Revit Electrical Design Experience is required. Must also have experience using AutoCAD or Microstation software. Associate’s or equivalent technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) is preferred but not required. Experience working on commercial and facility conduit and equipment layout projects. Requirements include strong PC and CAD skills, as well as efficiency in utilizing computer software to complete design assignments. Experience with Bentley Open Buildings software a big plus.

Salary Range:
