Job Description
Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. seeks Senior Designer – Renewal in New York, NY to prepare analysis and designs for building elements and systems. Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: gathering field information required to assemble detailed sets of drawings and specifications; preparing report of findings, analyzing conditions observed and providing recommendations for further action; working with details for building construction to observe the work while construction is in progress and direct contractor to correct construction mistakes/defects; utilizing software including AutoCAD; and utilizing project management tools including field wire to document field conditions and manage reports. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Offered salary is between $96,138 and $96,138 per year. 40 hours per week.
