Drafter (Structural and Miscellaneous Steel)

Scotia, NY 12302 Steel Detailer We are looking for experienced, talented, and enthusiastic steel detailers. Detailers will read, interpret, and coordinate between structural drawings, architectural drawings, and project specifications to produce accurate detail drawings for fabrication as well as plans for field installation. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management, a willingness to learn, and adaptability to a multitasking environment. Pay/compensation is commensurate with experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with 3d structural steel detailing software (Tekla Structures is preferred)
- Miscellaneous steel detailing experience is a bonus
- Ability to read and comprehend contract drawings and specifications
- Must be able to multitask and produce complete and accurate work
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Salary compensation negotiable based on experience
