Full Job Description Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, coordinating resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope. This role requires a strong understanding of design software and project management principles, making it essential for candidates to possess both technical skills and creative vision. Primary Responsibilities include (among other duties):

Design Support:

Assist in the development of space plans and layouts under the guidance of the senior space planner.

Collaboration:

Working closely with the construction team and company principals to ensure that space planning meets project goals and needs.

Data Collection & Analysis:

Gather and analyze information about space utilization, including measurements, user requirements, and existing layouts of office buildings, and industrial/manufacturing facilities. Additional responsibilities as needed or directed. Regional travel required.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in architecture or interior design; bachelor’s degree preferred. Entry level with 2-3 years of experience in computer aided design and surveying Proficient in AutoCAD Knowledge of architectural planning principles and techniques to meet IBC and local building codes and standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook. Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Experience with 3D design using Revit and SketchUp Strong creative design, problem solving, critical thinking and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and time management Success in multi-tasking while maintaining a strong attention to detail and desire to perform projects and actions with the highest quality results Excellent communication skills, both in written format and oral presentation Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines Demonstrated self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to be proactive and demonstrate initiative in projects and tasks Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
