Architect Confidential Charleston, SC 29405 Job Overview We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design sensibility, technical expertise, and a PASSION for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. As an Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing various projects from conception through completion, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory requirements. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for architectural projects. Develop detailed architectural designs using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3ds Max, Chief Architect. Create sketches and 3D models to visualize design concepts and present them to clients. Prepare construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and project manuals. Manage project timelines and budgets while coordinating with other stakeholders. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to secure project agreements. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design quality. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Rhinoceros 3D. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in construction management is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members. Ability to sketch ideas quickly and effectively communicate design concepts.
