Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Mobile, AL. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in structural or civil engineering, with a strong background in project management, design, and team leadership. This role requires a Professional Engineering License and offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary design teams, collaborate with clients, and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.

Schedule:

M-TH, 4-10’s

Rate:

90-120k

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead design teams of 5-10 members across multiple office locations.
Efficiently allocate company resources to complete projects on time and within budget.
Liaise with clients and professionals in other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
Mentor and guide less experienced engineers and drafters.
Perform field duties, including site inspections and evaluations of conditions and foundations.
Prepare calculations, designs, and drawings in compliance with customer and code requirements.
Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction methods.
Create 3D models for design purposes and develop drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
Conduct inspections to evaluate structural integrity and assess compliance with engineering codes.
Utilize structural engineering software such as RISA or Autodesk Robot for design and analysis.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
8-12 years of experience, preferably with exposure to consulting engineering.
Professional Engineering License (REQUIRED).
Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and budgets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and structural engineering software.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, or Autodesk Robot.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical capability to perform field duties, including climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varied environmental conditions. Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
