Project Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager on-site with various activities including scheduling, attending client meetings, writing purchase orders, procuring materials, and occasionally engaging in design tasks. Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager with scheduling and coordination of project timelines. Attend meetings with clients to ensure project objectives are met. Write and manage purchase orders for procurement of materials. Coordinate and procure necessary materials for project execution. Engage in minor design activities as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in project management and coordination. Experience in industrial or manufacturing engineering. Experience in mechanical engineering and project engineering. Understanding of CAPEX and project timelines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a couple of years of experience in an industrial setting. Interest in Construction Management graduates, though a learning curve is expected. Experience with AutoCAD is beneficial but not mandatory. Familiarity with PLC/Controls is advantageous. Work Environment The role is based in a loud indoor manufacturing site where weekend, holiday, and plant shutdown work is expected. Employees working both days of the weekend are typically allowed to take a couple of days off during the week.
