We specialize in failure analysis of residential, commercial and agricultural structures, providing expert insight into structural issues and solutions. We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with flexible scheduling available for part-time roles—perfect for those seeking a balanced work schedule. P.E. or S.E. License (Professional Engineer required). Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience, particularly in design and repair of wood, steel and/or masonry structures. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an openness to feedback. Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects efficiently. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle capable of transporting necessary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct forensic investigations of structural failures, including on-site assessments. Clearly document findings and prepare well-written, detailed reports. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and industry professionals. Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and navigate job sites, including climbing ladders. Travel to project locations within the state and surrounding regions (25-50% travel required; some locations may require up to 100%). Manage assignments efficiently with minimal super vision while maintaining attention to detail.
