Asa Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring thesafety, stability, and durability of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough structural analysisusing advanced software and tools to assess the integrity andstrength of existing structures. 2. Perform forensic engineeringinvestigations to determine the cause of structural failures,accidents, or damage, and provide recommendations for remediation.3. Design and develop innovative and efficient structural solutionsfor new construction projects, ensuring compliance with relevantcodes, standards, and regulations. 4. Collaborate closely witharchitects, contractors, and other professionals to developcomprehensive structural plans and specifications. 5. Conduct sitevisits and inspections to monitor construction progress, identifypotential issues, and ensure adherence to approved plans andspecifications. 6. Review and approve shop drawings, calculations,and other technical documents prepared by contractors andsubcontractors. 7. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, andtechnical documentation to communicate findings, recommendations,and design solutions to clients, stakeholders, and regulatoryauthorities. 8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to juniorengineers and technicians, ensuring their professional developmentand growth. 9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements,and best practices in structural engineering, and apply thisknowledge to improve project outcomes and processes. 10.Collaborate with the project management team to ensure projects aredelivered on time, within budget, and to the highest qualitystandards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil orStructural Engineering from an accredited institution. Master’sdegree preferred. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in structuralengineering, preferably in the construction industry. 3. Strongknowledge and experience in structural analysis, including the useof software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar. 4. Proven expertisein forensic engineering, with the ability to investigate andanalyze structural failures and accidents. 5. Proficiency indesigning and analyzing various structural systems, such as steel,concrete, and wood. 6. Solid understanding of relevant codes andstandards, including but not limited to ACI, AISC, ASCE, and IBC.7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to thinkcritically and develop innovative solutions to complex structuralchallenges. 8. Strong communication skills, both written andverbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technicalconcepts to diverse audiences, including compelling testimony incourtroom situations 9. Ability to work collaboratively in a teamenvironment, as well as independently with minimal supervision. 10.Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable, or theability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
