We are seeking a dedicated and experiencedCivil Engineer to be a part of our dynamic team. This permanentposition offers a unique opportunity to participate in high-profileprojects that shape the future of our community and beyond. Thesuccessful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design,development, and management of infrastructure projects. They willbe responsible for all aspects of site design, including permittingand zoning. This role requires a Professional Engineer (PE) licenseand at least 5 years of experience in the engineering industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop comprehensive design plans for variousinfrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, andwater supply systems. 2. Conduct site investigations to ensure thefeasibility of proposed construction projects. 3. Prepare andpresent detailed reports on the progress and completion of projectsto stakeholders. 4. Handle the permitting process, ensuring allnecessary paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.5. Oversee zoning regulations and compliance, liaising with local,state, and federal authorities as necessary. 6. Collaborate witharchitects, contractors, and other professionals on project designand implementation. 7. Utilize design software and drawing tools tocreate clear, visually compelling project plans. 8. Implement andmanage project changes and interventions to achieve projectoutputs. 9. Ensure projects run smoothly and structures arecompleted within budget and on time. 10. Ensure all work is carriedout in line with company procedures and adheres to professional andquality standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in CivilEngineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. 2. Avalid PE (Professional Engineer) license. 3. Minimum of 5 years ofexperience in Civil Engineering or a related field. 4. Extensiveknowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD,Civil 3D, or similar. 5. Proven track record of managing a projectfrom conception to completion. 6. Familiarity with design standardsand regulations. 7. Excellent knowledge of construction methods andregulations. 8. Strong understanding of the permitting and zoningprocess. 9. Exceptional leadership and project management skills.10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 11. Strongproblem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 12. Ability towork independently and as part of a team. 13. Demonstrated abilityto manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
