Project Engineer – Project over $100 million Position Available In Broward, Florida

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Review all types of submittals for compliance with contract documents Coordinate all submittals between trades & ensure submittals are processed to support the project schedule. Understand drawings/specs for all trades & disciplines Perform constructability & coordination reviews of contract documents and manage the RFI process for changes Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports and punch lists Establish and complete project closeout procedure per contract requirements Understand and comply with company’s safety program and remedial safety procedures Oversee Quantity Take-off’s as project requires Inspect construction site daily and work with contractors to schedule deliveries. Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications Proactively monitor, follow-up and initiate corrective actions with architects & engineers of record Run effective meetings, set agenda & establish action items. Take accurate notes & issue in a timely manner. Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with the owner, authority having jurisdiction, and design team

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction on projects exceeding $50 million. Proficient with MSOffice Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Procore or equal software Experienced in plan reading, construction scheduling Competitive Salary and benefits, reach out for more information!
