Site Civil Engineer Job Description We are looking for a Site/Civil Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is pivotal in leading and supporting design, permitting, and client management/development for various land development projects. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with top industry leaders on a wide range of premier land development projects. Responsibilities Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for both public and private clients. Collaborate with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure efficient staff utilization. Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit and engage in business development by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones. Lead site/civil efforts on diverse project sites, including designing and overseeing site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion, and sediment control from concept to completion. Lead stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation. Demonstrate expertise in all aspects of land development engineering, including integrating geotechnical and environmental engineering. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 5+ years of successful, local and related site/civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development on both small and large projects Professional Engineering license Site/civil experience on a variety of project sites including the ability to design and oversee site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control from concept through completion Strong client development and client management abilities Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D Experience in technical and proposal writing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing Additional Skills & Qualifications Active participation in professional organizations Work Environment Consistently ranked among the top ten ‘Best Firms to Work For’ and Engineering News-Record’s top 50 firms worldwide, we attract and retain the best talent in the industry.
