This position is a part of our Project Management Team for ourvarious jobsite locations throughout the region. Engineers provideonsite engineering and technical support, quality control,construction management assistance, land surveys, and help maintaina safe working environment. Heavy civil construction or marineconstruction experience is preferred. Travel may be extensive.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Development of project work element plans and JSAs Coordinate project definable features of work with Mansonsuperintendents, foremen, craft workers, and subcontractors Computer Aided Drafting for analysis of lift equipment capabilitiesand depiction of work method sequencing Critical path scheduling and 3 week look ahead scheduling Review designs, drawings, and engineering data prepared by Mansonconsultants and vendors for conformance with project plans andspecifications, and identify associated conflicts Investigation and research for needed permanent and consumablematerial items, equipment, and tools Inspection of newly delivered permanent materials for conformancewith project requirements Coordinate project activities with the client’s representatives andother project stakeholders Falsework Design Monitor of Manson and its subcontractors’ operations Daily operations and quality control reporting Project photographic records General project support Ensures compliance with Manson’s Code of Ethics and Standards ofBusiness Conduct Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting anIncident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition ofemployment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May directly supervise engineering interns.
QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering (Civil, Coastal, Ocean orMechanical) or Construction Management, from a four-year college oruniversity and 5 years’ experience required. Marine ConstructionIndustry experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable drivingrecord. Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) andcurrent registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT)preferred.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)required; experience with scheduling, estimating and projectmanagement software – HCSS & Primavera, preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position is primarily a field position, and will require travel.,including visits and monitoring of construction job sites. Employeemust be able to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE)required of various construction work environments (hard hats,personal flotation devices, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toedshoes, respirators, etc.). The employee is required to stand, walk,use stairs, ladders, and step stools and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds andmay occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able tonavigate stairs, ladders and gangways, board, work on and disembarkfloating vessels and structures. The noise level is moderate toloud.
