http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Landfill design, civil design, and site layout;
Geotechnical engineering analyses such as slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity, and seepage;
Geotechnical and environmental site characterization;
Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems;
Small project/task management and proposal preparation support;
Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications; and
Fieldwork associated with design and construction services.
Based on your current level of experience, you may be asked to take on task-level or project management responsibilities, along with business development, and staff mentoring tasks. Education and Licensure Bachelor’s degree in civil or geotechnical engineering. (required)
Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)
Professional Florida registration (i.e., P.E. P.G.) (preferred) Skills, Experience and Qualifications At least 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
Experience with modeling/design tools such as AUTOCAD, and ARCGIS. (preferred)
Periodic fieldwork and overnight travel. (required).
Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) #LI-NM1 #LI-Onsite
