Salary:

$85,000 – $120,000 per year

Job Details
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or eligibility is a plus, not required
SE certification preferred. Will consider EIT or recent EIT
5+ years of hands-on experience in bridge design, including load-rating analysis and seismic evaluation.
Expertise in industry-standard software:

Design & Analysis:

Bentley OpenBridge Designer, CSI Bridge, MIDAS Civil, SAP2000.

Load Calculations:

Proficiency in automated load-combination tools (e.g., MIDAS Civil’s post-processor) and code-compliant load-rating workflows (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocodes).

D Modeling:

Experience with BIM platforms like Autodesk Revit or Allplan for interdisciplinary coordination.
Familiarity with parametric modeling, finite element analysis (FEA), and construction staging simulations.
Ability to generate detailed reports, construction documents, and as-built models using software such as STAAD.Pro or Vectorworks.
Strong grasp of dynamic analysis for wind, seismic, and traffic loads, with tools like Bentley’s RM Bridge.
