Job Description
MUST HAVES
B.S. in civil engineering or related engineering field 3-5+ years of experience in civil CAD drafting as it relates to capital improvement projects Strong understanding of permitting procedures, regulatory requirements, and administrative code Highly proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office suite Great communication skills to be able to communicate with residents and lead harmonization meetings Strong organizational skills
Plusses:
Bilingual in Spanish Day to day: Meeting with property owners and leading harmonization meetings (every Tuesday and Thursday) – bringing print out of plans and narrative Providing meeting minutes every Tuesday and Thursday, and then sending them out Monday and Wednesday CAD drafting Harmonization plans per coordination with Transportation Engineer Coordinating availability with the client and providing them with HA packages Meeting with CIP department every Friday to discuss items requested by residents and taking notes and modifying plans Writing 30 day letters Gets signatures on HAs and records them with the court
