un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Structural Engineer Needed – Leadership Role w/ Growth Potential compensation: TBD employment type: experience level: senior level job title: Structural Engineer We’re a licensed architecture and engineering firm looking for a Florida-licensed structural engineer to lead structural projects and review team output. This is a unique opportunity to start on a per-project basis and grow into a leadership role—with the potential to become the qualifying engineer for the company and earn a percentage of each structural job. What you’ll do:
- Instruct, review and sign off on structural plans prepared with the help of our team of engineers
- Provide redlines and mentorship to junior staff (remote and local)
- Conduct inspections as needed (primarily residential and light commercial)
- Collaborate with in-house architects on permit-ready sets
- Help develop scalable systems as we grow throughout
Florida Requirements:
- PE license in Florida (structural focus preferred)
- Experience with wood-framed, CMU, and light steel design
- Able to communicate clearly and efficiently with design and permitting teams
- Comfortable using modern tools (Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD etc.)
- Spanish-speaking is a major plus (many of our team members are bilingual)
Compensation:
- Start with paid per-project work
- Option to transition into a qualifying engineer role
- Share in structural revenue from projects you oversee
