We are on the hunt for a dedicated andexperienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role isan excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in theEngineering industry and contribute to the design and creation ofinfrastructure projects that have a direct impact on society.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Civil Engineer, you will beexpected to: 1. Use your advanced knowledge of AutoCAD andMicrostation to design and draft detailed drawings for civilengineering projects like roads, bridges, utility systems, andmore. 2. Oversee all stages of project life cycles, includingdesign, development, and implementation, while adhering to budgetand timeline constraints. 3. Apply your understanding of civilengineering principles to solve complex problems and developinnovative solutions. 4. Conduct site inspections and analyze data(maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.) to plan and design projects.5. Work closely with the project management team to ensure projectsare completed on time, within budget, and to the highest qualitystandards. 6. Prepare detailed reports and presentations forstakeholders, outlining project progress, challenges, andsolutions. 7. Coordinate with other engineers, architects,contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution ofprojects. 8. Comply with all industry rules and regulations,ensuring all designs are safe, efficient, and environmentallyfriendly.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the PermanentCivil Engineer position should have: 1. A Bachelor’s degree inCivil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree orProfessional Engineer (PE) certification will be an addedadvantage. 2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a civil engineeringrole with a focus on infrastructure projects. 3. Proficiency inAutoCAD, Microstation, and other relevant design software. 4.Strong knowledge of project management principles and experiencemanaging complex projects from conception to completion. 5.Experience in designing utility systems and roadway structures. 6.Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. 7.Strong communication and team collaboration skills. 8. Ability towork under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromisingon quality. 9. A solid understanding of civil engineeringprinciples and industry regulations. 10.
