We areseeking an Engineering Manager for our Orlando, FL office withinthe Transportation Business Unit. The ideal candidate will thrivein a challenging, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment. Thisrole will leverage your work experience to help you developprofessionally into a well-rounded engineer capable of growth intoday’s global environment.

Responsibilities:

Design and prepareplans and specifications for transportation structures, includinghighway and railroad bridges, retaining walls, box culverts, andother miscellaneous structures, per AASHTO and FDOT requirements.

Work as part of a team or as a task/project manager, adhering toproject budgets and schedules under moderate supervision. Prepareengineering cost estimates, scopes of work, and proposals, andassist other Project/Task Managers with similar duties. Provideleadership, direction, and technical guidance to the project teamto ensure quality technical services. Monitor and enforcecompliance with established quality control standards. Completetraining on assigned tasks. Participate in occasional site visitsin an outdoor environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree inCivil Engineering or Structural Engineering. A Master of Science inStructures is preferred. Professional Engineering Licensure (PE) inFlorida, or the ability to obtain a PE license in Florida within 6months. 10-15 years of engineering experience on various bridgetypes (structural steel, prestressed, and cast-in-place concrete).Experience with FDOT standards, specifications, and design manuals.

Proficiency with structural analysis and design programs for bridgedesign. Proficiency in MicroStation and Open Bridge Modeler.

Excellent technical and interpersonal skills.
