A well-established architectural and engineering firm is seeking a licensed Structural Engineer with at least 10 years of experience to join its team. This full-time position involves working on large-scale Senior Living, Healthcare, and Multifamily projects, including both new construction and renovations. Key Responsibilities Design and analyze structural systems for new construction projects.
Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop project specifications.
Prepare detailed structural design calculations and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
Generate reports on structural evaluations, load calculations, and materials used.
Participate in project management activities, including budgeting and scheduling.
Review and approve construction documents for accuracy and compliance with engineering standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on new construction, renovation in Senior Living, Healthcare or MultiFamily building
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, and Revit.
Experience with reinforced concrete and steel design.
Familiarity with seismic and earthquake engineering principles is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
Proven experience in structural design and analysis, particularly in new construction.
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations relevant to structural engineering.
Experience with design software such as SAP2000, AutoCAD, and Revit.
Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design principles.
Ability to perform load calculations and seismic design assessments.
