This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with an Associate’s degree in any discipline from an accredited institution to gain valuable industry experience and build a career in property consulting and assessment. In this role, you will conduct field-based assessments, collect and ship material samples, capture property photographs, and assist in preparing field reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, ability to work independently, ability to perform physical tasks without accommodation, strong writing and communication skills, and comfort with meeting tight project deadlines. This position requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check. Responsibilities Assist the Civil Engineer with on-site evaluations of commercial properties. Capture comprehensive photo documentation of property conditions and structural elements. Conduct sample collection (paint, soil, building materials), follow chain-of-custody procedures, and ship to certified laboratories. Prepare organized and accurate written reports within a tight deadline. Coordinate effectively with property owners, site contacts, and internal project teams. Drive to and from project locations (within and potentially outside home region). Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, such as climbing stairs, ladders, entering attics, and accessing building exteriors. Maintain a professional demeanor while working independently in the field. Perform other project-related duties as assigned. Experience Associate’s Degree in any discipline from an accredited institution. Degree should be completed by the time of employment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Report will be required). No criminal record (criminal background check will be conducted prior to employment). Ability to write clear, concise field reports and communicate findings effectively. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Strong work ethic, reliability, and adaptability to shifting project needs. Physical ability to perform field tasks (e.g. walking, climbing ladders, carrying sample kits). Proficient in using digital cameras and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Willingness and ability to travel as needed, sometimes with short notice. Why Join Us?
