Structural Engineer Position Available In Clayton, Georgia

We are seeking a skilled Transmission Line Structure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, proficiency in STAAD Pro, and experience in designing and analyzing transmission line structures. This role involves ensuring the structural integrity and reliability of transmission lines, contributing to the development of innovative solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Analysis:

Perform structural design and analysis of transmission line towers, poles, and foundations using STAAD Pro and other relevant software. +

Project Management:

Manage and oversee transmission line projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. +

Technical Support:

Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, including troubleshooting and resolving engineering issues. +

Compliance:

Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. +

Documentation:

Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and documentation for transmission line projects. +

Collaboration:

Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Innovation:

Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of transmission line structures. + 5-7 years ofheavy industrial/power plant experience + Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification required + Accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering + BS in Civil Engineering strongly preferred + proficiency with structural computer programs such as

STAAD PRO

+ proficiency with OSHA regulations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 – $55.00/hr.
