Our organization isseeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer to join ourdynamic team. This is a permanent full-time position, offering theopportunity to contribute to a diverse range of constructionprojects. The successful candidate will have a strong background inCivil Engineering, with a focus on AutoCAD, Engineering Design,Hydrology, and Transportation Engineering. With at least 5 years ofexperience in the field, the candidate will have a proven abilityto manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring that allwork is performed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:

Leadand manage various civil engineering projects related toconstruction, ensuring they are completed on time and withinbudget. Utilize AutoCAD to design and draft detailed blueprints forconstruction projects. Apply principles of Engineering Design tocreate innovative and efficient solutions for complex engineeringproblems. Conduct Hydrology studies and assessments to understandthe impact of water on construction projects, and developstrategies to manage these effects. Participate in TransportationEngineering tasks, including the design and planning oftransportation systems within construction projects. Collaboratewith other team members, including architects, engineers, andproject managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Conduct site inspections to ensure construction is carried out asper the design and maintaining the highest level of safety andquality. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management,clients, and stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest industrytrends, technologies, and regulations, and implement them in yourwork as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in CivilEngineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will beconsidered an advantage. Minimum of 5 years of experience in theconstruction industry, specifically in a Civil Engineering role.

Proficient in AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of EngineeringDesign principles. Experience in Hydrology and TransportationEngineering. Excellent project management skills, with a provenability to lead projects from conception to completion. Strongcommunication skills, with the ability to present complexinformation in a clear and understandable manner. Detail-oriented,with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to workeffectively both independently and as part of a team. Strongproblem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach toengineering challenges. Familiarity with industry regulations andstandards. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
