Our Restoration Division specializes in emergency response construction and structural recovery following collapses, natural disasters, water/fire damage , and catastrophic failures. We are actively seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent with a strong background in restoration and reconstruction to lead fast-paced, high-impact field operations across the U.S.

Position Overview:

As a Traveling Superintendent , you will be responsible for boots-on-the-ground leadership in the aftermath of critical structural events. This role requires strong restoration and field coordination experience , excellent problem-solving under pressure, and the ability to manage multiple subcontractors in complex, evolving environments. You must be comfortable traveling extensively and leading projects under urgent, real-world conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead on-site construction and restoration efforts following collapses, fires, floods, or other structural failures. Coordinate demolition, structural shoring, temporary stabilization, and rebuild phases. Manage subcontractors, vendors, field crews, and safety compliance on active emergency jobsites. Collaborate with engineers, insurance adjusters, forensic teams, and project managers. Oversee the installation of temporary life-safety systems and reconstruction of compromised structural elements. Conduct daily reports, safety meetings, and logistics planning for fast-paced and often unpredictable project scopes. Maintain compliance with local codes, OSHA standards, and internal safety protocols. Act as the primary jobsite leader—ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. Travel as needed, often on short notice, for project mobilizations nationwide.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in restoration, disaster response, or structural reconstruction . Proven experience with emergency restoration projects , structural collapse, fire/water damage, or large-scale remediation work. Ability to manage chaotic, evolving jobsites while keeping teams focused, safe, and productive. Familiarity with insurance-driven construction, Xactimate scopes, and restoration estimating is a plus. Proficiency with project reporting tools such as Procore, Buildertrend, or equivalent. Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills. OSHA 30 Certification required; additional certifications in shoring, confined space, or disaster response are a plus. Willingness to travel extensively (75%-100%) and remain on-site for the duration of emergency projects. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly valued.
