• Four-yearengineering/technical degree or equivalent. Required Qualifications
• Has at least 4 years’ experience as a Systems ApplicationEngineer with related industry knowledge and demonstratedcommunication skills for interfacing directly with customers andother trades.
• Experience with HVAC and security installations andbe proficient in all types of building systems and the applicationof our technology.
• Shall be capable of coordinating other projectteam activities on site, including coordination with other trades,commissioning agents, and customers.
• Responsible for projectcoordination, safety, installation, checkout, commissioning, andtroubleshooting.
• Assist the PM in material procurement.

CyberSecurity:

Competency of cybersecurity paradigms (securitypasswords, configuration) and networking hardware

• Validatehardware, project installations and install, replace, andre-commission devices, equipment, and software.

JobResponsibilities:

• Understand how to read plans, specifications,drawings, and estimates.
• Lead resolution of project issuesthrough RFI’s, field surveys, and customer communications.
• Manageincoming requests from customers, subcontractors, engineers, andproject managers efficiently so that they are addressed promptlywhile balancing work assignments.
• Be able to read and understandhardware submittals, read or write simple programming, and assistothers in start-up of control’s equipment at a basic level withmentor support.
• Maintain and adhere to standards for engineeringhardware and software designs.
• Assist the PM in reviewingcontract documentation, coordinating drawings, materialprocurement, and mgt throughout project life cycle.
• Basicunderstanding of operator workstation use, graphics, and softwaredevelopment.
• Participate in basic field startup using standardstart-up and checkout processes.
• Proficiency in the usage ofStudio 360 and Prometheus apps and any other applicable engineeringtools.
• Participate in system startup and commissioning usingstandard pre-functional checkout processes.
• Become a lead fieldengineering resource on multiple simultaneous small to medium-sizedprojects and perform all field engineering responsibilities frommobilization to closeout.
• Review field sketches for change orderexposure and provide feedback to Project Manager.
• Ability todevelop or modify sequences of operations from the conversations.
• Ensure all design engineer activity is aligned with latestconformed construction documents prior to installation.
• Able tomodify and update design drawings and maintain red line documents.
• Collaborates with project manager and procurement personnel onpurchasing activity and monitors budget risks.
• Diagnosecommunication problems and install control devices and othercomponents, troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Participate in field quality control or safety audits and reviewanalysis and results.
• Coordinate with on-site contractors for theinstallation of equipment based on shop drawings.
• Act as primarypoint of contact for subcontractors and coordinate and address anyissues during installation phase independently.
• Make sure thatinstallation tracking sheets are updated regularly.
• Setup outsideISP connections and remote connectivity to customer sites.
