The Construction Project Engineer will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to deliver successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for effective project management.
Conduct site inspections and quality control to ensure work meets engineering standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve design and construction issues.
Prepare and submit project documentation, including reports, progress updates, and change orders.
Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractors as required for project completion.
Monitor project progress and provide solutions to any challenges that arise during the construction phase. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methods.
Familiarity with heavy civil construction, including highways, bridges, and excavation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and clients.
