Occasional site visits required Essential Functions include: Performs advanced engineering calculations, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
Interfaces with other technical disciplines, vendors, and contractors.
Interfaces with Drafting to provide any required information and reviews Drafting’s work.
Prepares specifications detailing performance requirements, design data, applicable codes/standards, and vendor drawing requirements Assists in assembling all project information into the project files.
Participates in site visits.
Serves as Lead Discipline Engineer on larger projects
Assists with mentoring less experienced engineers
Builds strong client relationships that generate repeat business Minimum qualifications: Bachelor of Science or higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent with a Structural focus from ABET accredited institution..
15+ years of Civil/Structural design experience
P.E. License
Strong Written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate
