Project Engineer Position Available In Suffolk, Massachusetts

Job Description:

Boston, MA Direct Hire $90K – $110K Annual PROJECT ENGINEERResponsibilities Works closely with Project Managers,Superintendents, Foreman, and Crews on Project Deliverables.

Process/manage material deliveries – ensure that materials receivedare properly inspected for quantity and quality and follow contractdocuments. Manage and negotiate subcontractor and materialcontracts. Assist in developing and updating the project schedule.

Coordinate and schedule shop drawings and submittals. Maintain acomplete and current record of submittals, approvals, andresubmittals, including a file of letters of transmittal and datesof each transaction. High level of involvement in the operations ofour cost control system and analysis of construction costs.

Participate in monthly forecasting of revenue and cost accruals.

Accumulate all necessary data and prepare monthly pay estimates.

Process and estimate change orders and requests for information asdirected by the Project Manager. Follows policies and procedures,including safety policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree incivil engineering, Construction Management, or related field HeavyCivil Construction background with 4 years’ field experience,Previous rail experience a plus. Must be safety oriented – 10-hourand 30-hour OSHA certificates are preferred Strong organizationaland time management skills Strong work ethic Ability to function asa team builder/player The ability to freely access all points of aconstruction site in wide-ranging climates and environments m1
