Precast/ Prestressed Concrete Project Engineer Position Available In Platte, Missouri

Chief Engineer Position Summary:

To provideengineering services as required on assigned projects

Responsibilities and Duties:

Review contract documents and ensurethey are properly implemented in designs, drawings, and productProvide engineering design services on assigned projects asrequired Conduct and document engineering designs, as necessary,including product design, product connection design, foundationconnection design, supporting element connection design, andgeneral lateral analysis Support Project Coordinators and Checkerswith erection drawing development as necessary Support ProjectDrafters and Checkers with production piece drawing development asnecessary Perform checking duties on erection drawings and/or piecedrawings as necessary Assist more senior engineers on projects asnecessary Know and communicate the schedule for all phases of theproject Visit jobsites and production facility on a regular basisto become familiar with production and erection procedures Providetimely solutions to production facility and/or jobsite customerswhen deviations arise. Develop and maintain relationships withexternal engineers of record, architects, and contractors Checkaccuracy of drawings prepared by Project Drafters and ProjectCoordinators as required When requested, review drawings anddesigns prepared by outside consultants Seal and sign constructiondocuments.
