  • CareerStability & Unlimited Career Growth Job Details To be consideredfor this opportunity, you must have experience in Mission CriticalFacilities design and construction and have a degree in Electrical,Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.

The ideal candidate will haveexperience with subcontractor management, design/build, technicalPM type experience in the mission critical field. This positionreports to the Director of Engineering and Construction.

Responsibilities:

Oversee project management and provide technicalengineering support for large enterprise expansion projects.

Prepare designs, specifications, and drawings for the repair,replacement, or upgrade of building electrical, mechanical, andrelated systems. Manage the RFP process. Lead project teams andsubcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality, budget-friendly, andsafe project completion while meeting client satisfaction goals.

Organize project management activities, including budget review,schedule updates, and establishing communication standards. Offerconsulting services by evaluating building systems and providingrecommendations for improvements. Build strong client relationshipsand identify new project opportunities. Maintain a network withlocal contractors.

Pre-construction:

Manage the preparation ofdesigns and RFPs for the repair and upgrade of electrical andmechanical systems. Oversee contract awards and activity throughcompletion.

Project Management:

Provide construction administrationfor system repairs and upgrades. Coordinate subcontractors toensure proper installation and service delivery. Collaborate withclients and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time,within budget, and to specifications. Keep detailed records of allinstalled systems and components.

Consulting/Owner’s Rep:

Analyzeand evaluate building electrical and mechanical systems,emphasizing power, lighting, safety, and security. Prepare andreview reports, identifying necessary actions and cost estimates.

Provide engineering and project management support for data centeroperations. Troubleshoot emergencies and oversee resolutions.

Operations Support:

Provide ongoing technical support and managevendor relationships. Continue building a local contractor network.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or arelated field. 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency inplanning, scheduling, and organization. Strong communication,leadership, and project management skills. Knowledge ofconstruction, mechanical, and electrical systems. Proficiency in MSExcel, Word, Project, and AutoCAD.
