Job Description
Summary:
Responsible for performing stress and structural FEA analysis using Ansys on rotary aircraft actuation systems, including gearboxes, shafts, transmissions, and related components.
Job Requirements:
BSME or equivalent; candidates with extensive experience in this field may be considered without a degree Experience performing stress and structural analysis in the aircraft industry (Aerospace or Automotive experience may also be considered) Proficiency in FEA using Ansys (experience with other FEA packages will not be considered) Experience with shock and vibration analysis Experience performing hand calculations where applicable
Preferred Skills:
Background in analyzing gearboxes, gear shafts, transmissions, drive trains, and couplings Experience preparing documentation for pre-body diagrams, strengths, and conditions for final certification
Job Responsibilities:
