Wednesday, 25 June 2025 General Summary Sr Stress Engineer, Honda Aircraft Company LLC, Greensboro, NC. Act as SME resp for finite element & internal loads devt. Prov leadership & guidance to contract & assoc stress engineers working on cert, analysis & testing. Write cert stress reports & work w/FAA Designated Engineering Reps. Perform both classic hand analysis (Bruhn, Peery, Roark, ESDU) & Finite Element Analysis. Present these analyses & assumptions in rational manner.
Min reqs incl:
Bachelor’s in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Mechanical, Civil. or Material Sci./Metallurgical Engineering & 5 years exp w/Finite Element Analysis using NASTRAN, ABAQUS, PATRAN, FEMAP, or equiv FEA software; 5 years exp w/3D solid modeling using CATIA v5, Unigraphics, or equiv CAD (model interrogation, not creation); & 2 years exp w/programming languages such as Python, VB & Matlab. Onsite presence req for min of 4 days/week. Location
