Job Description SummaryThis position will be part of the GE Vernova team responsible for wind blade structural design. The team is responsible for all aspects of wind blade design including conceptual structures, detailed analysis, models and drawings, production support, field failure investigations, testing, and manufacturing support. The role will specifically focus on structural design and analysis of composite structures for new blade designs & existing products as part of GE Vernova’s wind portfolio. This position will also include supporting non-conformances in the factory and providing engineering technical support for fleet issues.

Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesPerform structural design calculations in support of new product introduction (NPI) programs, including use of finite element modeling. Perform structural design calculations in support of factory non-conformance assessment.

Provide blade technical expertise for fleet issues (Root Cause Analysis).Perform structural design analysis for new load configurations and site-specific loads. assessment. Provide technical report to 3rd party certification body.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement on the blade product – drive them through as projects.

Develop models and pre-test predictions as part of wind blade/RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Composites Engineering, or equivalentMinimum of 3 years in design or production engineering (wind industry preferred)Ability and willingness to travelling, no more than 25% of timeDesired CharacteristicsExperience with structural design or manufacturing of composite material structures

The base pay range for this position is $88,600.00 – 125,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. This posting is expected to close on 5/31/2025.•The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
