Field Project Engineer Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Field Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC to assist on large-scale commercial construction projects in the area. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with a competitive salary and benefits!

Duties:

• Support daily field operations, including scheduling, coordination, and quality control.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily reports.
• Track and update project schedules and progress using scheduling software.
• Conduct on-site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and service s.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, material procurement, and cost tracking.
• Participate in project meetings and document key outcomes and action items.
• Maintain and update construction drawings and specifications in the field.
• Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to identify and resolve field issues.
• Enforce site safety policies and support company safety initiatives.

Compensation:

• Annual salary between $80,000
• $90,000

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction preferred (internship or co-op experience accepted).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work on-site daily and travel between job sites as required.
