Job Description
Trillium Construction is hiring for a Field Project Engineer in Raleigh, NC to assist on large-scale commercial construction projects in the area. This is a full-time, direct-hire pos it ion w it h a compet it ive salary and benef it s!
Duties:
- Support daily field operations, including scheduling, coordination, and qual it y control.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, such as RFIs, subm it tals, change orders, and daily reports.
- Track and update project schedules and progress using scheduling software.
- Conduct on-s it e inspections to mon it or compliance w it h safety regulations and project specifications.
- Coordinate w it h subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Assist w it h quant it y takeoffs, material procurement, and cost tracking.
- Participate in project meetings and document key outcomes and action it ems.
- Maintain and update construction drawings and specifications in the field.
- Work closely w it h the Superintendent and Project Manager to identify and resolve field issues.
- Enforce s it e safety policies and support company safety in it iatives.
Compensation:
- Annual salary between $80,000

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction preferred (internship or co-op experience accepted).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Abil it y to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain.
- Abil it y to work on-s it e daily and travel between job s it es as required.
