Duties, Responsibilities & Other Our Building Structures team is hiring an experience Engineer to join our team in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. Multi-tasker with ability to perform building and building-related structural design and condition assessments and develop construction drawings for concrete, wood, and steel structures. Must be able to develop own construction documentation using Auto

CAD/REVIT.

Will lead project team and work with other disciplines. Able to use Microsoft Office suite and Bluebeam/Adobe. Experience with

RISA/RAM

is preferred. Provide mentoring, technical development, and general oversight of junior staff. Perform and QA/QC calculations, drawings, reports, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and code compliance. Plan workload, track and meet budgets for structural tasks/projects. Maintain existing client relationships. Candidate must have worked on all phases of design as well as provided construction administration/bid phase services. Good problem solving, communication, and technical writing skills are required. A solid background of reliability, commitment to task and project completion and success is required.

Required Expereince:

Structural Engineer with at least 5 years of experience using structural design software, AutoCAD/Revit, and building design. Must have field experience and ability to work with clients, contractors, and other disciplines. Must have a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited school. Professional Engineering (PE) license is required. Structural Engineering (SE) license a plus. NCEES registration a plus and the ability to obtain licenses in other states is required. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Appropriate graduate level work is preferred. Minimum of 5 – 9 years of professional experience.
