Job Responsibilities:

Work in the field at building construction sites as a Quality Assurance Representative; this involves observing, documenting and reporting on construction work, and performing construction materials testing.
Inspecting construction and materials forpliance with drawings and specifications.
Materials include reinforced concrete, masonry, structural steel, spray applied proofing, soils, earthwork, and foundations.
Field testing of plastic concrete, grout, mortar, block, fireproofing, soils, non-destructive testing of welds, and high strength bolting installation.
Communicate / coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients.
Work construction hours (which may include overtime).

Qualifications:

BS in Civil Engineering or related field of study.
Recent or uing graduates are encouraged to apply.
Reliable Transportation.

FE / EIT

in NJ is a plus.
NJ DCA Special Inspector certification (e.g.: Structural Steel, Masonry, Concrete, etc.) is required.
Experience working on construction projects is a plus!
Ability to read drawings and specifications, write reports, create sketches, andmunicate technical details.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Dependable, motivated, able to multi-task and prioritizing multiple assignments.
Good written and verbalmunication skills.

TARGET SALARY RANGE

$50K – $60k (per year)
