Civil Engineer E.I.T. Job Description We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This role is ideal for an independent-minded professional eager to take on responsibility in a vibrant work environment. Responsibilities Prepare plans, applications, documents, and graphical materials in support of land development projects, including site plans, subdivision plans, road plans, profiles, cross-sections, stormwater management plans, plot plans, septic system plans, variance plans, and environmental permitting plans. Conduct land surveys, topographic mapping, utility mapping, wetland mapping, and prepare as-built plans. Communicate and coordinate directly with clients, subconsultants, architects, attorneys, and government agencies as needed. Research and review documents such as agency regulations, application checklists, and project-specific standards to ensure all required information is included and appropriately formatted on plans and documents. Make and document revisions to submitted plans in response to client requests and agency comments. Essential Skills Minimum 3 years of CAD experience required. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required. Experience with stormwater design and grading with at least 3 years in similar roles. Must have an EIT and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, CAD, land development, site development, and stormwater management. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with GIS is a plus. Ability to read 2D plans and blueprints. Ability to creatively plan efficient workflows and layouts. Strong organizational skills and ability to present information graphically. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience with land development and/or land surveying projects. Ability, confidence, and desire to work and succeed with minimal supervision.
