Civil/Structural Engineer Job Description We are seeking a talented Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in structural analysis for substation projects, focusing on foundation design including MAT, PIER, and drilled shaft foundations. This position offers a long-term role with growth opportunities. Responsibilities Conduct structural analysis for foundations of substations. Perform analysis and design for MAT foundations, pier foundations, and drilled shaft foundations. Coordinate design documents effectively. Collaborate with substation and related equipment teams. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural analysis for substation or transmission line projects. Strong understanding of foundation design for MAT, PIER, and drilled shaft. Proficiency in RISA software. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with RISA 3D, RAM, AutoCAD, and structural design software. PE certification or nearing completion. Exposure in industrial projects such as pipe racking, oil and gas, or other industrial fields. Work Environment The position is based at the Spring Valley office in NY, with a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days per week in the office (Tuesday to Thursday) and remote work on Mondays and Fridays. You will have your own cubicle space and work closely with a team of two drafters and supplemental staff. The role offers flexibility in working arrangements, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
