Civil/Structural Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team, focusing on the structural analysis and design of substation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of foundation design and the ability to work closely with substation equipment. Responsibilities Conduct structural analysis for foundations of substations, including MAT foundations, pier foundations, and drilled shaft foundations. Coordinate design documents with relevant teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with substation and related equipment to ensure project alignment. Hand off work to a team of two drafters. Essential Skills Proficiency in structural analysis for substation projects. Strong understanding of foundation design, specifically MAT, PIER, and drilled shaft foundations. Experience with RISA Software. Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license or near completion. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with software such as RAM and AutoCAD. Experience in industrial projects such as pipe racking, oil and gas, or other similar fields. Work Environment You will work two to three days a week remotely, specifically on Mondays and Fridays, with office attendance required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thursdays can be remote or in-office, depending on preference. The role includes working within a dedicated cubicle space and collaborating with a team of two drafters and supplemental staff.
