A top engineering firm in the area is looking to add aGeotechnical Engineer to their team. This stable and growing firmoffers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in the AECindustries. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is anopportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of highlymotivated staff.
Geotechnical Engineer Responsibilities:
Performanalysis for retaining walls and bridges, structures and buildings,dams and levees Data reduction and organization to providerecommendations for foundation design On-site observation ofexcavation techniques and soil sampling Co-design multiplegeotechnical engineering projects, concurrently Co-coordinate andexecute various projects with geotechnical staff Work alongsideproject management teams to successfully monitor progress andimplementation of initiatives.
Geotechnical EngineerQualifications:
4 years of experience in geotechnical engineeringPE certification (or in the process of achieving) Projectexperience with bridges, roadways, retaining walls, slopes, andembankments, buildings and various methods of ground improvements.
Software Skills :
Microstation, AutoCAD preferred, proficiency inMicrosoft Office Must be willing to travel to work sites •
