Geotechnical Engineer hybrid Position Available In Kings, New York

Job Description:

A top engineering firm in the area is looking to add aGeotechnical Engineer to their team. This stable and growing firmoffers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in the AECindustries. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is anopportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to join a team of highlymotivated staff.

Geotechnical Engineer Responsibilities:

Preparedata, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents relevant to agiven property’s soil profile Data reduction and organization toprovide recommendations for foundation design On-site observationof excavation techniques and soil sampling Co-design multiplegeotechnical engineering projects, concurrently Co-coordinate andexecute various projects with geotechnical staff Work alongsideproject management teams to successfully monitor progress andimplementation of initiatives

Geotechnical Engineer Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering PE or EITcertification Project experience with bridges, roadways, retainingwalls, slopes, and embankments, buildings and various methods ofground improvements

Software Skills :

Microsoft Suite, gINT,geotechnical analysis software experience is a plus. Must bewilling to travel to work sites

Geotechnical Engineer Compensation:
