Understanding of Civil Plan composition concepts (model space/paperspace, utilization of xrefs, etc.) Reading and interpretingengineering construction drawings. Learning regulatory requirementsand drafting plans in compliance with those regulations. Work fromdetail sketches or off red lines to prepare plans, profiles, anddetailed drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Work with civil engineers indrafting engineering drawings that show topographical data and theassembly of site work construction documents, such as gradingplans, storm sewer plans, water and sanitary sewer plans, and theirassociated profiles. Understand and use established companystandards for drafting including layer names, styles, drawings andfile names for sheet layout. Analyze sketches, notes, and otherinput material to determine and plan the best approach to developand complete drawings with minimal supervisions. Ability tointerpret and transfer information from as built/record engineeringdrawings Work closely with other disciplines on multi-disciplineprojects. Prepares detailed exhibits, drawings sets, quantitycalculations, and reports for various projects from the preliminaryengineering design phase through final design.
