Civil Engineer Job Description The Civil Engineer will execute technical work assignments on land development projects for municipal engineering either individually or as part of a project team. Engineers with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply, as tasks and responsibilities will vary depending on their status of licensure and level of experience. Candidates should possess an EIT, PE, or be close to obtaining these certifications. Responsibilities Execute technical work assignments on land development projects. Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful completion of municipal engineering tasks. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for project design and development. Engage in land development processes and demonstrate interest in the field. Essential Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. EIT/PE certification or nearing completion. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. 3 to 4+ years of professional experience. Experience or interest in land development. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in water and wastewater management. Knowledge of municipal engineering and transportation engineering. Ability to handle stormwater, site development, civil design, drainage, and grading projects. Work Environment The work environment is characterized by a family feel within a large local firm.
