Associate Civil Engineer Job Description Actalent is currently seeking an Associate Civil Engineer in Wilkes-Barre. Qualified candidates will have experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Responsibilities Prepare drawings related to site layouts, grading and drainage, utility, and existing features plans for current projects. Inspect erosion and sediment control measures for active projects. Report conditions of controls and any issues that must be addressed. Assist in preparing land development plans to be submitted to agencies. Perform drainage calculations regarding pipe flows, swale calculations, and time of concentration for drainage projects. Assist in preparing plans for NPDES approvals. Increase knowledge of Civil 3D software. Essential Skills Degree or associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D. 0-12 months experience in Civil Engineering.
