Senior Construction Engineer Spectra Tech, Inc. United States, South Carolina, Aiken Jun 16, 2025 Spectra Tech has an immediate need for a Senior Construction Engineer in Aiken, SC.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and at least 2

• 4 years of practical experience in construction engineering or related areas. An associate’s degree and 5
• 7 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 8
• 12 years of practical experience would also be considered equivalent.

Top Skills & Years of Experience:

• A general knowledge of system testing and operations is helpful to ensure system turnover scope is adequate in regard to pre-operational testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
• Professional registration with the state of practice is desirable.
• At least (2) years of experience performing NQA-1 electrical work.
• At least (2) years of experience managing a field engineering functional group.
• Experience developing construction work scopes in the form of work packages to complete designed installations.
• Adequate knowledge of schedule and cost performance and tracking.
• Experience performing task specific hazard analysis for construction activities.
• Knowledge of nuclear facility design including the application of safety class and safety significant codes and standards.
