We’re looking for an Associate Civil Engineer to support the full lifecycle of assigned projects—from design and permitting to completion—under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer.
Salary:
$71,000•$95,000/yr.
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, flex between 7am•5pm
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop water, wastewater, and other civil infrastructure projects. Draft detailed construction plans using AutoCAD. Ensure all projects comply with federal, state, and local codes and regulations. Collaborate with regulatory agencies such as the
EPA, DHEC, U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers, and more. Conduct engineering studies and prepare cost estimates. Coordinate permitting and contractor selection processes. Provide project oversight for outside engineering consultants. Offer technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Engineering degree with a focus on civil design associated with water systems. Degree with preference for design of water and wastewater infrastructure; registration as an EIT in the state of South Carolina required within 24 months of hire.
