Posted Yesterday Geotechnical Engineer Multiple openings: From Early to Advanced Career Key Responsibilities Depending on Experience Conduct soil testing and analysis to determine the physical and chemical properties of soil.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for geotechnical investigations and assessments.
Design and analyze foundations, retaining structures, and other geotechnical components using AutoCAD.
Participate in site characterization and geotechnical investigations to gather relevant data for projects.
Evaluate slope stability and propose solutions to mitigate risks associated with slope failure.
Assist in the design and implementation of ground improvement techniques and environmental geotechnics solutions.
Collaborate with civil engineering teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into overall project designs.
Manage project timelines and resources effectively, ensuring that all geotechnical work is completed on schedule. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or greater in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and geotechnical design software.
Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and practices, soil testing and analyses.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
EIT or PE a Plus!
