The ideal candidate will haveexperience in private sector facility design, including greenfieldand retrofit projects, with a focus on manufacturing facilities,chemical process industries, and material handling projects. Thisrole requires independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, andapplying standard design techniques, procedures, and criteria tomake minor adaptations and modifications. While this position doesnot have direct supervisory responsibilities, it offers theopportunity to contribute as a technical expert. KeyResponsibilities Deliver client-focused design solutions with astrong commitment to quality. Research, plan, and designcode-compliant structural solutions that often require innovativeapproaches within a multidisciplinary team to meet projectrequirements, often exceeding standard code minimums. Serve as atechnical resource for structural integrity and seismic strength,applying engineering theories, concepts, principles, and bestpractices. Estimate and manage workload for yourself and others toensure project success within scope, budget, and scheduleconstraints. Represent Harris Group in client meetings,communications, and industry engagements. Provide on-siteconstruction phase observation and support as needed. Maintainregular and reliable attendance. Be willing and able to travel tooff-site locations or accept client site assignments when required.
