Job Description Summary The Project Engineer will lead the engineering execution of services PowerUp products and wind farm projects as the primary liaison and single point of contact between engineering and project management, supply chain, the site team, our customers, and our customers’ contractors. The scope includes the fulfillment of all software deliverables along with the completeness and accuracy of the digital thread up to the contractual completion date. Job Description Essential Responsibilities The Lead Project Engineer will ensure fulfillment of customer orders in compliance with contractual requirements. In doing so, they will: Translate contract requirements and facilitate the configuration of control software and parameters based upon the site requirements and specific PowerUp product configurations Coordinate, schedule, and thoroughly communicate with allocated resources to complete engineering deliverables Identify and drive resolution to customer issues through leadership to the rest of Engineering and Commercial teams resulting in timely fulfillment and customer satisfaction Create and/or facilitate project specific engineering instructions as well as customer reports Actively participate in customer meetings Provide timely & accurate responses to customer and field teams technical inquiries for product implementation, validation, and customer reports Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering (or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of equivalent work experience) Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering Ability and availability to travel 10% of the year Desired Characteristics Comfortable providing technical presentations to peers, customers and leadership regarding the details of technical issues and project status MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is essential, while knowledge of VBA, SQL, OPC, ODBC, MODBUS, MATLAB, ControlST & MarkVIe controls software are advantages Strong analytical skills, able to do Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to understand and resolve problems Power Generation, renewable energy, and wind industry experience The salary range for this position is $88,600 – $147,600 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. This posting is expected to close on March 15th or thereafter.
